On Saturday 16 February a ‘pop up picnic in the paddock’ was held on a private property owners farm, opposite a Coal Seam Gas (CSG) drill site. Well known musicians rocked out in an open air concert, all in the name of protesting the CSG. It was a great day and the turn out was phenomenal (I estimate 1000+ people).

Musicians included Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald, Andrea Soler, Diana Anaid, Nathan Cleary. And I think I speak for everyone that was at the event – you guys rocked and thank you for your support!

Here are some photos I captured. Lock the Gate – Rock the Gate.

Great shots of Xavier! <3 I really liked the second last photo too of that man too and it's especially great with the bicycle shot afterwards haha! So good.

It's great they have these events, CSG should be criminal. It is unbelievable what the Government thinks is justifiable when they see dollar signs.

    P.S. Don't you just love Xavier's tatts! 🙂

Thanks Mel! Xavier was awesome – it was great being so close while he was performing as well. I love his tattoos as well.
It’s so good that these performers volunteer their time to the anti-CSG movement. It’s 2013… how is the environment not the #1 priority. I don’t get it.
